Mid Week Double !!

Wednesday at Worcester seen the team here at Conkwell have a nice little double.

We had 6 runners across the card having a double and a second.

Lahinch Wave won the 5.40pm Jenningsbet Mares Maiden Hurdle over a distance of 2m 4f, under a very positive ride from Richie Mclernon. The 6 year old mare jumped off out in front and led all the way winning by a very comfortable 1 1/2 L on her very first run under rules for her delighted owners Lynne & Angus Maclennan.

The Bold Thady made it a double when he got his head in front in the 2m 7f Handicap hurdle, the 7 year old gelding by Milan was ridden to perfection by Dylan Johnston winning by a head for his owners Ron & Ruth Turner.

Moonset ran in the 2m 7f Maiden hurdle ridden by Danny Mullins and finished a very respectable 2nd to King Roly only beaten by 1/2 L
