A Busy Few Days.

Its going to be a busy few days here for us at Conkwell Lodge. we have four runners heading to Worcester today.

Think First with Richie Mclernon on board, Watergrange Jack, Shuil Ceoil with Sam Twiston - Davis taking the rides and Malinas Island with James Bowen in the saddle.

We have three runners heading off early in the morning to catch the ferry to Jersey for The Mid Summer Meeting Friday evening.

Man Of The Sea looking to make it a hat - trick after having won both his last races here, the first one over hurdles and then the 1m6f Wedding Day H’cap, but back over hurdles again this time.

Chelsea Annie is also heading back looking for her third win this season. She gamely won her first two starts the first by 1/2L and the second by a head and last time out just getting beaten by 3/4L so fingers crossed she makes it into the winners enclosure again.

Bonny Power is the other runner that we have running in the 5 furlong H’cap.

Then on Friday the team will also be heading off to Bangor On Dee with The Turtle Said and The Bold Thady.

We have also taken full advantage whist the sun has been shinning and we have been making hay here on our own land at Conkwell, and getting all the summer jobs done, washing all the rugs,power washing and painting stables ready for the busy winter ahead.
